You may experience mild redness, warmth, or sensitivity for several hours after treatment—this is completely normal.

To soothe your skin and promote healing: Apply cool compresses or aloe vera gel to calm the skin.

  1. Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer as needed.
  2. Avoid touching, rubbing, or scratching the treated area.
  3. Do not apply makeup, deodorant, or perfumed products for 24 hours if the face or underarms were treated.


For the First 24–48 Hours:

Protect your skin while it recovers.

  1. Avoid heat exposure: No hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or vigorous exercise.
  2. Avoid sun exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning beds for 14 days.
  3. Use sunscreen: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ to all treated areas, even if indoors.
  4. Do not wax, tweeze, or pluck: Hair removal methods that disturb the follicle can interfere with results.


When to Contact the Clinic:

Mild redness or swelling is normal. Contact our office if you experience:

  1. Blistering, crusting, or scabbing.
  2. Persistent redness lasting longer than 72 hours.
  3. Signs of infection or unexpected irritation.
